The power of innovation
At the Willy Naessens Group, human capital is central as the main source of inspiration for new products, services and entrepreneurial initiatives. Our slogan "dream, think, dare, do and persevere" perfectly sums up how our employees actively encourage initiative and realise their ideas. Innovation does not just mean big, sweeping changes. It is also about a critical attitude where we dare to evaluate and improve current ways of working to become more efficient and productive.
The Circle®
At Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings, we are building the future for our great-grandchildren. And that future starts with circular concrete construction. That is why we developed the building blocks of the future. 100 demountable elements that make any industrial building possible at lightning speed. A circular building concept with blocks of concrete. The Circle® is for developers, end investors, users/tenants, but also for architects and consultants, the most efficient way to realise an industrial building project.
BIM
At Willy Naessens Industial Buildings, we have been using BIM (Building Information Modeling) for more than 15 years to realise our projects more efficiently and accurately. It is an integral part of our way of working is in every step of the value chain.

Automated high-rise warehouse
The roll-out of a fully automated high-bay warehouse combined with the implementation of a new ERP/WMS system is the first step in further optimising the existing service levels and associated services at our food companies. The expansion of "Skyfall" increases storage capacity from 38,000 to 50,000 crates and increases order picking capacity by 25%. Moreover, the building recently took a major sustainability step with the installation of solar panels. A total of 1,724 panels were installed (3,600 m²).
Ultra-strong concrete
Willy Naessens Group invests in East Flemish family-owned startup KWANTZ, which is launching a unique concrete product developed at UGent with its ultra-strong concrete. KWANTZ is creating a new type of stone that trades identically as marble, composite and ceramic, with applications in interiors such as kitchens, bathrooms, staircases and flooring. "I believe very strongly in this project and the team of enthusiastic entrepreneurs behind KWANTZ," says Willy Naessens.

Video: What is a Life Cycle Assessment and how is it applied within the Willy Naessens Group?
A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a method used to assess the environmental impact of a product over its entire lifetime.
This means that all the phases of the product's life cycle are taken into account: from the extraction of raw materials, production, transport and use, up to and including the end of its useful life (such as recycling and waste disposal).
